Dan Harper, MA, MID, NCIDQ #014453, IDEC is Assistant Dean for Facilities and IT for the College of Fine Arts and also teaches in the Interior Architecture program at Ohio University.
With 20+ years of practice experience, primarily in commercial and healthcare interiors, he has been certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. He is also an active member of IDEC and will soon serve as Regional Chair for the Midwest.
Dan’s research interests include housing and the evolution of the meaning of ‘home’ as well as the investigation of emerging work styles and workplace applications. As a textile artist, his work reflects the influence of design philosophy and has been exhibited in both juried and non-juried exhibitions.
